Patron (Lifetime) Membership Eligibility Criteria

Patron Membership is open to:

IT Software Development Companies registered in India with active business operations.
IT-Enabled Services (ITeS) Companies including BPO, KPO, digital marketing, data processing, analytics, and allied services firms.
Educational Institutions offering IT, computer science, or technology-related programmes including universities, autonomous/affiliated colleges, polytechnics, and accredited training institutes.
Industry Associations, trade chambers, and allied organisations with relevance to the IT or technology ecosystem.
Individual IT Professionals or Entrepreneurs (at the discretion of the Governing Council).

Eligibility Conditions:

Must be a legally registered entity in India (Company, LLP, Trust, Society, Partnership, or Proprietorship).
Must possess any valid business certificate issued by the Government of Gujarat (GST Certificate, IEC Certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, ROF, PAN Card, Partnership Deed).
Should be established and functioning since not less than 2 years.
Must not have any outstanding dues, legal disputes, or ethical violations with VCITE or any of its predecessor organisations (including RITA).
Must not be engaged in any activity that the Council determines to be contrary to the interests of the IT ecosystem or the broader public interest.
Educational institutions must hold valid recognition from the relevant statutory body (AICTE, UGC, State Government, etc.).

Important Notes:
• VCITE reserves the right to decline any application for Patron Membership without being required to state a reason, subject to refund of the full membership fee paid.
• Membership is granted to the organisation, not to any specific individual within it. Change of key personnel does not affect membership.
